Quote: When any composer makes progress, they often share it with other team members from all departments. How do you decide which tracks to add to the game and which to scrap? Various unused and beta versions of the tracks were released recently by both current and past TTR composers or have been featured in official TTR social accounts. While I was making the Boiler Room theme, I thought it would be neat to have the Sellbot Factory theme play in the middle of the piece and to have a bit of an embellishment right after to really bring in the feeling of impending doom from the Boiler Room, and I really believe the French horns do a great job of conveying that feeling! A lot of the time while writing pieces, I think to myself, “Hmm, it would be so cool to have a little part of this Toontown motif played here!” I would argue that these moments were one of the most fun parts of writing pieces for Sellbot Field Offices. Quote: When writing music for Toontown Rewritten, I absolutely love making original pieces that have sprinkles of references to different Toontown themes. Therefore, whenever I tackle a new piece of music for Toontown Rewritten, I look to original Toontown Online tracks that fit a similar scenario (Sellbot H.Q., in the case of Sellbot Field Offices) and try to figure out what leitmotifs I can quote in the new pieces!

The great composer Berlioz coined the usage of 'leitmotif,' or a repeated theme regularly used in a piece or series of pieces. However, the Executive Suite was a later project I did, so by that time, I felt more comfortable taking some creative liberty while also still harkening back to the original. How do I write something that is both new but also not so jarring that it stands out from the original as inconsistent? The Stomper Room, for example, was my very first project as an official member of the Toontown Rewritten Team, so I played it safe and created a more intense version of the Cog battle theme.
